Your mission when playing Flappy Bird

Flappy Bird is a game that is causing a storm on social networks because of its appeal. This game was created by programmer Nguyen Ha Dong based in Vietnam. Your objective is to guide a bird on the screen through gaps between green pipes that resemble those from a Super Mario game. The more rapidly you tap the screen, the higher the bird ascends. What makes it challenging is that the openings within the pipes are randomized with each playthrough, so there's no chance to learn from your previous attempts. Every successfully traversed pipe contributes a "1" to your score. As you progress, these accumulated points determine your final score, which can span from 0 to well beyond 100, depending on the amount of time and effort you invest in the game.

The gameplay is elegantly straightforward

By tapping the screen as you would in Geometry Dash Subzero, you make the bird flap its wings, trying to maintain a consistent rhythm to successfully overcome the pipe obstacles scattered in its path. It's no walk in the park. This game can be a source of frustration for some players, as colliding with a pipe results in the bird plummeting and necessitates restarting the game. Interestingly, a few believe that diverting attention away from the game or focusing solely on the lower pipes may lead to higher scores.
